GREENHOUSE ACCESSORIES - PEPPER SUPPORT
Agro-technological Instructions for Greenhouse
Production of Peppers:
The Spanish Method of Trellising
1.
End Row Support:
Iron or wood posts are placed at the end of the rows.
They are either anchored to the greenhouse structure or
to diagonal ground supports.

2.
Vertical Trellising Twine:
Trellising twine is tied from the wire to the ground, with
a distance of 3-4 plants.

3.
It is recommended to place a reinforcing post every 20 meters (approximately) along the length of the row.
4.
Horizontal Trellising Twine:
The plants are supported by horizontal trellising twine spread parallel to the ground along both sides of the row. A raffia twine is recommended, as it does not harm the crop.
The initial support is placed at a height of approximately 40 cm, below the first splitting of the plant branch. The vertical twine is then attached to the horizontal twine.

Beginning with the second level, the pair of horizontal twine are reinforced and attached to the vertical twine by means of a pepper clip (#5700).
The remaining horizontal twine is added according to the pace of crop growth, with a vertical distance of 20-25 cm between twine.
